Our fantastic tour guides take guests through a variety of marine environments. We will discover and explore the wonders of Cape Breton and take you through the most beautiful waters on earth. Precambrian rocks, fossil beds and shipwrecks line the rocky coastlines. Dip into sea caves and picnic on pristine beaches at the base of the Cape Breton Highlands.
Our region is home to moose, coyotes, black bears, seabirds, bald eagles, great blue herons and Atlantic salmon. See fishing cormorants, eagles, terns, gulls, seals and even visits by feeding pilot or fin whales. Plant life ranges from taiga, to Acadian and Boreal forests and unique coastal meadows. The flora continues down into estuaries, fragile salt water marshes and beach dunes. Visit us and see for yourselves.

The Highlands Overnighter
Stop and experience the Cape Breton Highlands. You will paddle past pristine barrier beaches, salt marshes, against towering cliffs and camp amid the stunning panorama of the North Atlantic. We feed you traditional fare, fresh seafoods in a hearty camp dinner. Single and double kayaks will be used. Participants should have tenting and sleeping gear. The Highlands Experience
Experience two nights in the Cape Breton Highlands, complete with local seafoods in gourmet camp meals. Explore our rugged northern coastline. We will take you to bare cobbled beaches, isolated waterfalls and places still in touch with their ancient history. Watch moose in the setting sun, see cormorants wrestling with eels, watch eagles dive along the coastline and marvel at the miniature plants that cling to life on the sea spray swept coastlines and trails. Single and double kayaks will be used. Participants should have tenting and sleeping gear. This is a true kayaker’s playground. The Highlands Explorer
Journey further into remote northern coastal waters. Sea kayak the northern most areas of Cape Breton and camp at the edge of the world. Dine on fine seafoods, explore cobble beaches, lie back and watch the eagles soar while your guide skillfully prepares your repast. Whales are frequently encountered in these waters, along with seals, eagles, mackerel and true beauty. Participants should have tenting and sleeping gear. Double and single kayaks will be used.
