Stop and experience the Cape Breton Highlands. You will paddle past pristine barrier beaches, salt marshes, against towering cliffs and camp amid the stunning panorama of the North Atlantic. We feed you traditional fare, fresh seafoods in a hearty camp dinner. Single and double kayaks will be used. Participants need tenting and sleeping gear, some is available. The Highlands Experience
(3 Days - Two nights)
$610 per person (CAD)

Experience two nights in the Cape Breton Highlands, complete with local seafoods in camp meals. Explore our rugged northern coastline. We will take you to bare cobbled beaches, isolated waterfalls and places still in touch with their ancient history. Watch moose in the setting sun, see cormorants wrestling with eels, watch eagles dive along the coastline and marvel at the miniature plants that cling to life on the sea spray swept coastlines and trails. Single and double kayaks will be used. This is a true kayaker’s playground. We offer frequent trips throughout the season.

The Highlands Explorer
(5 Days - Four Nights)
$899 per person (CAD)

Journey further into remote northern coastal waters. Sea kayak the northern most areas of Cape Breton and camp at the edge of the world. Dine on local seafoods, explore cobble beaches, lie back and watch the eagles soar. Whales are frequently encountered in these waters, along with seals, eagles, mackerel and true beauty. Double and single kayaks will be used. Custom dates available.

Group Tours
Eagle North has many options for tours groups. We offer: guided paddles, interpretive beach walks, seafood picnics and guided mountain, coastal or beach hikes. We offer programs from one hour to full day. Bicycle, hiking and photography groups are all welcome. Please contact us for more information

Kids Kayak Camps
Several times a summer we offer week long (1/2 day) kids kayak camps. Our day camps include lessons in safety, basic kayaking and canoeing skills, forward/backward/turn strokes, safe entry and exits, wet exit training (that’s dumping your boats and getting back in, safely), lot’s of fun on the water games and more, as well as a light snack.
